Creating so many blogs at that time was a nightmare though thankfully things are a lot easier to do now. Unfortunately for us the blog registration process relies on responding to an automatically generated email from globalstudent blogs, (a Victorian schools based portal based as a subset of edublogs.org). Just before a number of students could access their email, our local email server became corrupted and the emails were lost. A number of other students email inboxes were full so the email was not received. This meant a lot of troubleshooting was required. Another problem that surfaced was that some of the students deleted another email that contained the direct link to their blog and as a result couldn’t find their URL.
